Coaching and Mentoring International expects all its staff, directors,
tutors, mentors, Exchange leaders, members and coaches (from student
through to senior coaches) to abide by a
Code
of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct is designed to ensure that clients are aware
of the quality standards which Coaching and Mentoring International
expects from people who work with us, and what they in turn can
expect from a relationship with Coaching and Mentoring International and one of its coaches.
The Code of Conduct is another example of the organisations commitment
to high coaching standards, quality, continuous improvement and
best practise.
Other examples include:
- The requirement to undertake
Continuous Professional Development to retain membership status
- Accreditation of courses to a high external standard and pursuit
of increasing levels of accreditation
- Involvement in shaping and developing coaching standards around
the world
- Attainment of Investors in People award
- Regular review and updating of training materials, both in coach training and programme delivery
- Access to an Ethics Committee
