MAGIC coaches will visit your organisation to deliver the programme. This is once a week (for two hours), over the 6 week period. Of course if this doesn’t suit your organisation, it can be altered to suit.
A wide range of activities are undertaken by the participants, all designed to be non-directive and aimed at self-development, consideration and awareness for the young people. The activities are fun, engaging, stimulating and lead to development of useful life enriching skills.
Activity types include:
- Self directed exercises
- Language based activities
- Communication based exercises
- Group exercises
- Role play style activities
- Practical exercises
Each exercise has specific learning outcomes and is relevant to meeting the aims of participating in MAGIC.
The exercises are also the main factor in ensuring that the young people gain accreditation from the programme.
